Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

• A Independently manage the daily operations of the tax department and reporting to Tax Manager
• End to end managing of all taxes of the regions India, Middle east and APAC.
• Reconciliation of data with returns and books.
• Preparation of schedules and coordination with Auditors for Statutory Audit and Tax Audit.
• Tax Related advisories to stakeholders.
• Support on tax related filings of Inter-companies in and outside India.
• Tax Planning and structuring for both Direct and Indirect Tax.
• Follow and strengthen internal controls and drive processes improvements.
• Coordinate with internal stake holders for supplying audit requirements & review.
• Work on annual and quarterly group reporting and related tax schedules.
• Collect, and analyze data for reports, presentations and correspondence
• Dealing with consultants for advisory services and other support services
• Support ad-hoc projects that arise during various systems implementations

Qualifications

• Preferably a Chartered Accountant
• We are looking for a candidate with 5 to 7 years of experience in Taxation or Finance
• Strong experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation, Finance & Accounts and compliances related to APAC, Middle East and India regions.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliances and procedures especially related to India.
• Knowledge on the application of Finance & Accounts systems & Taxation e-filing, returns software's.
• Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
• Expert in the taxation/ tax audits / tax compliances
• Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Good in verbal and written communications.
• Should have a positive attitude and should be able to proactively get things done.
• Strong problem solving, and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal Skills - Must have the ability to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels inside and outside of the company
• Must be a self-starter with proven ability to take ownership of job responsibilities.
