Job Title : SAP FICO Consultant
Work Location : Jharsuguda & Singhitarai Chhattisgarh

Responsibilities:
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO (Finance and Controlling) Consultant with 5-8 years of hands-on experience to participate in the implementation, enhancement, and support of our SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in core financial modules, a strong understanding of
integration points, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP
solutions. You will act as a crucial link between the finance business users and the technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Implementation & Configuration: Lead and participate in full-lifecycle SAP implementations, rollouts, and upgrades, specifically focusing on SAP S/4HANA Finance.
● Module Expertise: Configure and customize key SAP FI/CO modules including:
o General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)
o Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Bank Accounting (FI-BL)
o Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Internal Orders (CO-IO), Profit Center Accounting
(EC-PCA)
o Product Costing (CO-PC) is a significant plus.
● Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze, design,
and document "to-be" business processes and functional requirements.
● Solution Design: Provide expert advice on best practices and design scalable SAP
solutions that meet business needs while adhering to global standards.
● Integration Management: Understand and manage integration points between FI/CO
and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, PM) and external systems.
● Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level support for incident resolution, perform
root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for finance-related issues.
● Testing & Training: Develop test scenarios, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), and
create end-user documentation and training materials.
● Project Leadership: Manage workstreams or small projects, ensuring deliverables are
met on time and within budget. Mentor junior consultants.
Required Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information
Technology, or a related field.
● 5-8 years of proven experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant, with at least one
end-to-end full lifecycle SAP implementation.
● Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (e.g., New General
Ledger, Asset Accounting, parallel accounting, document splitting, etc.).
● Deep functional and configuration knowledge in at least three of the core FI and CO
sub-modules listed above.
● Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial business processes.
● Experience with integration touchpoints with SD, MM, and other logistics modules.
● Proficiency in creating functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces,
enhancements, and forms (e.g., using IDOCs, BAPIs, User Exits, etc.).
● Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
