Accountant

Job Description: The Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by overseeing various accounting functions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as overseeing financial transactions, maintaining precise records and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, managing taxes, processing invoices, and generating financial reports. Proficiency in accounting software and meticulous attention to detail are crucial. Collaborating with internal teams, you'll uphold financial integrity and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions using accounting software (Tally).

2. Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments in a timely manner.

3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly accounted for.

4. Handle all aspects of GST, TDS, and other tax-related matters.

5. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

6. Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collection and payment.

7. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on financial matters as needed.

8. Assist in financial audits and compliance reviews.

9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting procedures

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting.

2. Proficiency in accounting software, especially Tally.

3. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.

4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

5. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

7. Academics: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
