Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

A Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible

for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and fostering

relationships to increase revenue and market share. They research

markets, develop strategies, and work with sales and marketing teams to

acquire new clients and expand existing business. 

KEYS RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Business Management:

1.1 Creating and implementing

business development strategies.

1.2 Researching and identifying

potential markets, clients, and partnerships.

1.3 Keeping up to date with market

trends, competitors, and industry developments.

1.4 Analysing market data to

identify new business opportunities.

1.5 Establishing and maintaining

relationships with potential and existing clients.

2 Training and

Performance Monitoring:

2.1 Provide ongoing training,

mentoring, and coaching to the sales team.

2.2 Motivate team members to achieve

individual and team sales goals.

2.3 Set clear sales targets and

objectives for the team.

2.4 Analyse sales data to of team

and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

3 Sales Reporting:

3.1 Prepare and present regular

sales reports to senior management.

3.2 Communicate effectively with

team members, providing clear instructions and expectations.

4 Administrative Tasks:

4.1 Keep the team informed about

company updates, policies, and changes.

4.2 Maintain accurate and up-to-date

records of sales activities and transactions.

4.3 Assisting with special projects

or tasks as assigned by management, which may involve research, data

analysis, or other administrative duties.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

2-3 years of experince in same field

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any specialization

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good presentation and negotiation skills

Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Fluency in English (additional regional language skills are

a plus).
