Cook / Chef

We are a QSR startup based in Guwahati, Assam, looking for a hands-on Head Cook / Chef who understands speed, consistency and cost control. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in QSRs, cloud kitchens, cafés or small restaurant setups and wants to grow with a brand from an early stage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent taste, portioning, and quality
• Prepare and standardize recipes for QSR-style production
• Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain speed of service during peak hours
• Manage raw material usage, wastage control, and inventory
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and FSSAI standards are followed
• Coordinate with founders on menu improvement and new product trials
• Maintain kitchen discipline and workflow efficiency

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 1–3 years of experience in QSR / cloud kitchen / café / fast-casual setup
• Strong understanding of bulk prep, line cooking, and fast turnaround
• Good knowledge of costing, portion control, and minimizing wastage
• Ability to handle pressure during high-order volumes
• Leadership mindset with a hands-on working style
• Reliable, disciplined, and process-oriented

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience in setting up or scaling a QSR kitchen
• Knowledge of pan-Indian taste profiles (added advantage)
• Prior experience with delivery platforms (Zomato / Swiggy)

SALARY:

Probation period: 3 months (Rs.12,000 per month)

After probation period: (Rs.20,000-25,000 per month)

Note: Lodging and Meals inclusive.
