Deputy Manager - Mechanical
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment, minimizing downtime and enhancing efficiency.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and components in alignment with project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mechanical processes and integrate advanced technologies for improved performance.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols in all mechanical operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of mechanical components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Support the Head - Mechanical in strategic planning and execution of mechanical projects aligned with the business unit’s goals.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mechanical system reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in mechanical operations and maintenance within the thermal power sector.
