Job Description
A Guest Service Associate (GSA) acts as the primary point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service through check-ins, check-outs, and handling inquiries or complaints to ensure a positive experience. They manage reservations, process payments, and offer information about facilities, maintaining a welcoming and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Managing, registering, and assigning rooms to guests, including check-in/check-out, often using property management software.
- Guest Communication: Greeting guests upon arrival, answering inquiries, and providing information about amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Conflict Resolution: Addressing and resolving guest complaints or issues promptly and with tact to ensure satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks: Processing payments, managing reservations, handling mail, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required.

- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
