Job Description
Position Overview
The Marketing Assistant supports the end‑to‑end execution of influencer campaigns across social media platforms. This role involves creator coordination, content tracking, script and brief preparation, data organization, and ensuring timely delivery of campaign assets. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and passionate about digital storytelling and social media culture.
Key Responsibilities
Influencer Coordination & Communication
• Assist in identifying, shortlisting, and onboarding influencers across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with creators regarding briefs, deadlines, deliverables, and revisions.
• Support relationship‑building by ensuring influencers feel guided, valued, and aligned with campaign goals.
Campaign Execution
• Prepare influencer briefs, scripts, captions, and content guidelines in simple, actionable formats.
• Track deliverables including reels, posts, stories, and YouTube integrations.
• Ensure timely submission of content and follow up on pending deliverables.
• Coordinate approvals between internal teams and influencers.
Content & Quality Review
• Review influencer content for brand alignment, accuracy, and emotional resonance.
• Check for correct product placement, messaging, hashtags, and call‑to‑action usage.
• Flag inconsistencies and coordinate revisions when needed.
Data Tracking & Reporting
• Maintain organized campaign sheets with deliverables, links, performance metrics, and billing status.
• Track views, clicks, engagement, and other KPIs for performance analysis.
• Assist in preparing weekly or monthly campaign reports.
Billing & Documentation
• Collect invoices, UPI screenshots, and payment confirmations from influencers.
• Update billing trackers and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Follow up on pending payments or discrepancies.
Research & Trend Monitoring
• Stay updated on platform trends, viral formats, and creator communities.
• Suggest new content ideas, formats, and creators based on emerging trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong communication skills in English (Assamese or regional languages is a plus).
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and influencer ecosystems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel).
• Creative mindset with an eye for storytelling and visual content.
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable with fast‑paced workflows.
Preferred Experience
• Prior internship or experience in influencer marketing, digital marketing, or social media management.
• Familiarity with content review, scripting, or creator coordination.
• Experience working with regional creators or niche communities.
