Relationship Officer-Asset (Disbursal)

About the role

The Relationship Officer – Asset (Disbursal) is responsible for sourcing new asset business, logging in loan proposals, coordinating with credit and operations teams, and ensuring timely disbursement of approved loans. The role focuses on Loan Against Property (LAP) and Business Loans, while maintaining strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to drive asset growth and portfolio quality.

What you will do

·      Source new business for Loan Against Property (LAP) and Business Loans through direct customers, referrals, and channel partners.

·      Generate leads and build a strong pipeline to achieve monthly loan disbursement targets.

·      Develop and maintain relationships with DSAs, connectors, and local business clients for business sourcing.

·      Collect and verify customer documents including KYC, financial statements, and property papers.

·      Ensure accurate loan application login in the system with complete documentation.

·      Coordinate with Credit, Legal, Technical, and Operations teams for loan processing.

·      Track loan files and resolve queries raised by the credit or underwriting teams.

·      Coordinate with operations to ensure timely and accurate loan disbursement.

·      Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.

What you will need

·      Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

·      1–4 years of experience in retail asset sales, mortgage loans, or SME lending.

·      Experience in Loan Against Property (LAP) and Business Loans preferred.
