Role Overview



The Senior Manager – Sales & Marketing will lead Avedon’s revenue growth, brand positioning, and market expansion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution skills, capable of building scalable sales systems, leading teams, and driving high-impact marketing campaigns in the education ecosystem.





Key Responsibilities




1. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth



  • Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Build and manage B2B sales pipelines (Schools, Coaching Institutes, Education Owners)
  • Design and implement institutional sales strategies and pricing models
  • Lead negotiations, closures, and high-value institutional partnerships
  • Develop upselling and cross-selling strategies across Avedon’s offerings




2. Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth



  • Create and execute integrated marketing strategies (online & offline)
  • Strengthen Avedon’s brand presence across digital platforms, events, and media
  • Plan and manage education summits, leadership meets, workshops, and webinars
  • Oversee content marketing, performance marketing, and lead-generation campaigns
  • Collaborate with the content, design, and social media teams




3. Team Building & Management



  • Build, mentor, and manage Sales Executives, Marketing Managers, and Field Teams
  • Set KPIs, review performance, and drive a high-performance sales culture
  • Conduct regular training sessions for sales and marketing teams




4. Market Expansion & Partnerships



  • Identify new markets, regions, and growth opportunities (especially Northeast India & Pan-India)
  • Build strategic partnerships with schools, coaching networks, education brands, and corporates
  • Represent Avedon at education forums, conferences, and industry events




5. Data, Reporting & Strategy



  • Track sales funnels, CAC, ROI, conversion rates, and campaign performance
  • Present weekly and monthly reports to leadership with actionable insights
  • Continuously optimize strategies based on data and market feedback






Required Skills & Qualifications




Must-Have



  • 8+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing leadership
  • Strong background in B2B / Institutional Sales
  • Proven record of scaling revenue and teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability




Preferred



  • Experience in Education, EdTech, Coaching, or Consulting sectors
  • Understanding of Northeast India education market
  • Experience handling large ticket deals and enterprise clients
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, performance marketing, and analytics
