• Strategic Security Planning: Develop, implement, and continuously enhance security policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to thermal power projects, ensuring alignment with Adani’s safety and operational standards.
• Risk Assessment & Management: Conduct thorough security risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and threat identification. Formulate and execute mitigation strategies to safeguard personnel, assets, and infrastructure against internal and external threats.
• Operational Leadership: Lead and oversee all security operations at the project site, including physical security, surveillance, access control, emergency response, and crisis management, ensuring 24/7 vigilance and rapid response capabilities.
• Team Management and Development: Mentor, train, and manage a diverse security team, fostering a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement. Promote employee engagement aligned with Adani’s values of respect and teamwork.
• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all security activities comply with legal, regulatory, and environmental standards specific to Assam and national mandates. Liaise with local law enforcement, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations of security incidents and breaches, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and facilitate communication with senior leadership and external agencies.
• Technology Integration: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of advanced security technologies such as CCTV, biometric access systems, intrusion detection, and cybersecurity measures relevant to physical security.
• Emergency Preparedness: Design, implement, and conduct drills for emergency response plans including fire, sabotage, natural disasters, and other contingencies, ensuring readiness of all personnel.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and local communities to promote awareness, coordination, and proactive security culture that supports Adani’s sustainability and social responsibility initiatives.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage security budgets, resources, and procurement effectively to optimize operational efficiency without compromising safety standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging security trends, technologies, and best practices in the thermal energy sector, integrating innovations to elevate the security framework.
• Adani Culture Advocacy: Embody and promote Adani’s core values — care, innovation, and transparency — in every aspect of security management, building trust and fostering a safe, inclusive workplace.

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering, Law Enforcement, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 12+ years of proven experience in security management.
