Sr. Engineer - Civil

Responsibilities

• Leading civil engineering activities for power plant construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Planning, designing, and supervising structural components such as foundations, cooling towers, water reservoirs, and access roads specific to power plant needs.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineers to integrate civil engineering solutions seamlessly.
• Conducting site inspections and surveys to assess construction progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, including safety and environmental guidelines.
• Managing contractors and vendors effectively, overseeing procurement of civil engineering materials and services while optimizing costs and ensuring quality.
• Utilizing advanced civil engineering software and tools for structural analysis, design validation, and project documentation.
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and site staff to enhance team capability and productivity.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes, resource utilization, and project delivery timelines.
• Preparing detailed project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributing to the sustainability goals of the company by integrating eco-friendly construction methods and materials where possible.
• Engaging with local communities and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution and maintain Adani’s reputation as a responsible corporate citizen

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
