Waiter / Steward

Overview:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dishwashing areas, supporting kitchen staff, and ensuring a smooth back-of-house operation. This role is vital to maintaining food safety and a pleasant working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas as per hygiene standards.
• Ensure all cutlery, crockery, and kitchen tools are washed, dried, and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness in all back-of-house areas including floors, walls, sinks, and trash areas.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep work when required.
• Ensure proper garbage disposal and cleanliness of waste bins.
• Replenish kitchen supplies such as dishwashing liquids, towels, etc.
• Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
• Requirements:Prior experience as a steward or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
