Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of user systems and devices.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 & 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/macOS systems and software.

Respond to and resolve service desk tickets efficiently.

Set up new users with required systems, software, and access.

Maintain inventory and asset tracking of IT equipment.

Support remote users via tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or RDP.

Coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements.

Assist in system upgrades, software deployments, and patch management.

Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions.

Ensure IT security compliance through updates and antivirus management.

Participate in ongoing IT projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop or IT helpdesk support.

Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and network basics.

Experience with Active Directory and Group Policies.

Familiarity with SCCM, MDT, or other imaging tools, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).

Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

Certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with macOS / Linux systems.

Exposure to hybrid or remote user support.

Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell / Batch).

Understanding of ITIL best practices.
