Job Description
Monitor bhatti/furnace operations as per approved heat treatment cycle
Control and record fuel/electricity consumption to ensure efficiency
Verify temperature, soaking time, and cooling rate as per specifications
Ensure heat treatment parameters meet railway and drawing requirements
Conduct quality checks after heat treatment (hardness, microstructure, distortion)
Maintain heat treatment logs and records for traceability
Coordinate with quality and inspection teams for approval
Identify and rectify process deviations or defects
Ensure compliance with railway standards, QAP, and safety norms
Support continuous improvement to reduce energy consumption and rework
