Plant Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the water / sewage / effluent treatment plant
• Monitor treatment processes including filtration, RO, softening, chlorination, aeration, clarification, and sludge handling
• Ensure water quality meets required standards and regulatory norms
• Maintain proper operation of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and pipelines
• Coordinate plant start-up, shutdown, and routine operational activities
• Supervise plant operators and assign daily work schedules
• Maintain logbooks, operational records, and consumption reports
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns and preventive maintenance
• Ensure availability and proper dosing of chemicals
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with pollution control norms
• Assist in audits, inspections, and reporting to authorities
