Job Title: Supply Planning Executive – Haldia Factory, Unilever
Function: Supply Chain – Make
Reporting to: Factory Supply Chain Manager

Job Purpose:

To ensure effective supply planning and inventory management for the Pondicherry factory, aligning production schedules with demand forecasts, optimizing stock levels, and supporting seamless operations across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory targets.

• Collaborate with factory teams, procurement, and central planning to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.

• Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams for efficient material movement and storage.

• Analyze supply chain data to identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

• Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes with accurate supply inputs.

• Ensure compliance with HUL’s safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

• 5-10 years of experience in supply planning or factory operations, preferably in FMCG.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in SAP/APO or other planning tools.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
