Caretaker

Job Purpose

To ensure a safe, nurturing, and hygienic environment for children in the creche by providing proper care, supervision, and engaging activities while their parents are at work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Child Care & Supervision

• Provide attentive care and supervision to children in the creche.
• Ensure children’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
• Monitor children's activities to prevent accidents or injuries.

2. Hygiene & Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the creche area, toys, bedding, and play equipment.

3. Activities & Engagement

• Organize age-appropriate activities, games, and learning sessions to support children's physical and mental development.
• Encourage social interaction and positive behavior among children.

4. Feeding & Basic Care

• Assist children during meal/snack time and ensure proper nutrition.

5. Parent Coordination

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s daily activities, behavior, and well-being.
• Inform parents or HR immediately in case of any health issues or incidents.

6. Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and creche regulations.
• Maintain records of attendance, health concerns, and daily activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 12th pass / Diploma in Child Care, Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Prior experience in creche, daycare, preschool, or childcare services preferred.
• Patient, caring, and responsible personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
