Purchase Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies required for smooth operations.

• 🔑 Key Responsibilities:🛒 Procurement & Vendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
• 📦 Purchase Planning & ExecutionRaise purchase orders based on production and sales requirements
• Ensure timely procurement of:
• Raw materials
• Packaging materials
• Consumables
• Track orders and follow up for timely delivery
• 💰 Cost Control & AnalysisCompare quotations and finalize best rates
• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations
• Work on cost reduction and better negotiation strategies
• 📊 Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with:
• Production team (for material planning)
• Accounts team (for payments and reconciliation)
• Maintain purchase records, MIS, and reports
• 📋 Inventory SupportMonitor stock levels and avoid stock-outs or overstocking
• Ensure proper inward documentation and quality checks
• 👤 Candidate Requirements:🎓 Qualification:Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Any relevant field)
• MBA (Supply Chain / Operations) preferred
• 💼 Experience:1–4 years in purchase/procurement
• Experience in manufacturing/trading preferred
• 🧠 Skills Required:Strong negotiation skills
• Good communication & vendor handling
• Knowledge of Excel (basic to intermediate)
• Understanding of inventory and supply chain
