Job Summary

The Shift Manager is responsible for managing restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service, food quality, hygiene standards, and team productivity. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, controlling costs, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shift Operations Management

  • Manage complete outlet operations during assigned shift.
  • Ensure timely opening and closing as per SOP.
  • Monitor food preparation, order processing, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to brand and hygiene standards.
  • Handle billing, cash reconciliation, and POS operations.

2. Team Leadership & Manpower HandlingSupervise team members (Team Members, Cashiers, Kitchen Staff).

  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate duties.
  • Monitor attendance, grooming, and discipline.
  • Train new team members on SOPs and service standards.
  • Maintain positive team morale and motivation.

3. Sales & Target AchievementAchieve daily and monthly sales targets.

  • Drive add-on sales and combo promotions.
  • Monitor KPT and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Reduce complaints month-on-month.
  • Support local store marketing activities.

4. Customer Service ExcellenceEnsure fast service and order accuracy.

  • Handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Build repeat customer relationships.

5. Inventory & Cost ControlMonitor daily stock usage and wastage.

  • Ensure proper FIFO (First In First Out) process.
  • Prevent pilferage and stock loss.
  • Support stock audits and vendor coordination.

6. Compliance & HygieneEnsure FSSAI and food safety compliance.

  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining area.
  • Follow safety guidelines and fire safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper uniform and grooming standards.


Eligibility Criteria

1–3 years of experience in QSR / Restaurant operations

  • Prior team handling experience mandatory
  • Required SkillsStrong leadership and people management
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of POS and MS Excel
  • Ability to handle rush hours
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
