Milk Procurement Cum Collection Executive

Key Responsibilities-

.Procurement Targets: Meet planned targets for milk procurement (quantity and quality) within the designated operational area.

.Farmer Relationship Management: Establish, build, and maintain positive relationships with dairy farmers, milk producers, and village-level cooperative societies.

.Milk Collection Logistics: Oversee and manage the daily operations of milk collection centers (MCCs) or village procurement centers, including logistics and transportation arrangements.

.Quality Control: Ensure proper weighing, testing (for fat and SNF content), and chilling activities are carried out at all collection points to maintain quality and safety standards. This includes performing adulteration detection tests.

.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all milk collection activities, transactions, pricing, and payments. Prepare and present regular collection and market reports to management.

.Payment Processing: Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure prompt and timely payments to suppliers based on the quality and quantity of milk supplied.

.Farmer Training & Awareness: Organize and conduct training programs and awareness camps for farmers regarding the benefits of organized milk collection, clean milk production, animal health, and hygiene practices.

.Problem Resolution: Address and resolve farmers' grievances or issues related to collection delays, qualityconcerns, or payments promptly.

.Supplier Identification: Identify and onboard new vendors/farmers to expand the procurement network and ensure a consistent supply of raw material.
