Head Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Head Tally Accountant to independently handle the complete accounting, taxation, and compliance functions of our manufacturing unit engaged in steel and metal processing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally (Purchase, Sales, Journal, Cash & Bank)
• Finalization of Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance
• Maintain Stock & Inventory accounting (Raw material, WIP, Finished Goods, Scrap)
• Cost tracking for manufacturing operations
• Reconciliation of Bank, Debtors, Creditors

GST & Taxation

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
• Handling E-way bills
• Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and compliance
• Coordination for GST audits and departmental queries

Statutory & Compliance

• TDS calculation, deduction & filing (24Q, 26Q)
• Professional Tax, PF, ESIC compliance (if applicable)
• Liaison with CA, Auditor, GST consultant
• Assistance in Income Tax workings & audits

Manufacturing-Specific Work

• Accounting for job work, conversion charges, scrap generation
• Understanding of steel coils, pipes, sheets, ERW processes
• Tracking production vs consumption data
• MIS reports for management (Monthly/Quarterly)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter preferred
• Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime
• In-depth knowledge of GST & Manufacturing Accounting
• Experience in Steel / Engineering / Auto components industry is mandatory
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good coordination and communication skills
