Job Description
A Field Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales by meeting clients and customers in person. They play a crucial role in building relationships, understanding customer needs, and closing sales on the ground. Their primary focus is on expanding market reach and driving revenue through direct interactions.
- Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition & Lead Generation
- Identify and approach potential clients in the assigned territory.
- Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, and referrals.
- Follow up on leads to convert them into sales opportunities.
- Client Meetings & Relationship Building
- Conduct regular visits to prospects and existing customers.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable products/services.
- Maintain long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
- Prepare and deliver presentations or product demonstrations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and close deals effectively.
- Market Research & Feedback
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Collect feedback from customers to improve products/services.
- Provide insights to the sales and marketing team.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of visits, sales, and customer interactions.
- Submit daily/weekly reports to sales managers.
- Use CRM tools or mobile apps for real-time data updates.
- After-Sales Support
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product delivery and service.
- Handle customer complaints or queries promptly.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
