Job SummaryTanishq is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage billing and payment transactions at our retail store. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate billing, maintain cash records, and provide a smooth checkout experience for customers purchasing jewellery and other products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle billing and payment transactions including cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments.
• Generate accurate invoices and receipts for jewellery purchases.
• Verify product details, weight, and pricing before processing billing.
• Maintain cash register and daily cash reconciliation.
• Ensure proper documentation of exchange, returns, and refunds as per company policy.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth customer checkout.
• Maintain records of daily sales, cash collection, and deposits.
• Follow company policies regarding financial transactions and security procedures.
• Provide polite and professional customer service during billing.
• Required QualificationsGraduate or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in cashiering, retail billing, or POS operations.
• Experience in retail jewellery stores will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, billing software, and MS Excel.
• Key SkillsStrong numerical and accounting skills
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle cash responsibly and maintain records
• Familiarity with digital payment systems
