Web Designer

Job Description:

Highleap Media is looking for a creative and skilled Website Design and Development Executive who can design, develop, and manage modern, high-performing websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both design and development, with the ability to deliver user-friendly and visually appealing websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress (including custom development)
• Convert design concepts (Figma or others) into fully functional websites
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO
• Create and manage website content with a focus on clarity and engagement
• Collaborate with the marketing team for landing pages and campaign-based websites
• Perform regular updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in WordPress (custom themes and plugins preferred)
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools
• Basic understanding of SEO principles
• Content writing and website structuring skills
• Understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on real client projects
• Knowledge of page builders like Elementor.
• Basic understanding of hosting, domains, and website deployment
