Design Engineer

Develop and modify elevator designs including mechanical layouts, structural components, safety systems, and custom configurations.

Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation.

Conduct engineering calculations on loads, stresses, materials, and performance criteria.

Collaborate with electrical and control engineers to ensure system integration and compliance with project specifications.

Support prototype development, testing, and validation of elevator components and assemblies.

Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards (EN 81, ASME A17.1, ISO standards, etc.).

Provide technical support to project managers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and installation crews.

Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work closely with procurement to evaluate materials, vendors, and cost-effective solutions.
