Job Description
- Programming & Optimization: Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications to develop efficient CNC turning programs using G-code or CAM software.
- Setup & Operation: Configure, set up, and operate CNC turning machines (lathes) to fabricate parts within specified tolerances.
- Tool Selection: Choose appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and accessories, and calculate optimal feeds, speeds, and depths of cut.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery to correct malfunctioning or out-of-tolerance parts.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products using precision tools like micrometers, verniers, and dial indicators.
