Job Description

A Clinic Front Office Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations, greeting patients and visitors, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records. They play a crucial role in creating a positive and efficient experience for patients while ensuring smooth clinic operations. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction:
  • Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience. 
  • Appointment Management:
  • Scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, and managing patient schedules effectively. 
  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, updating information, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. 
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Handling phone calls, processing payments, filing paperwork, and assisting with various administrative duties. 
  • Communication:
  • Acting as a liaison between patients, providers, and other staff members, ensuring clear communication and efficient information flow. 
  • Office Management:
  • Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring proper supplies and equipment are available. 

Skills Required:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and staff. 
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills are needed to manage appointments, records, and various tasks. 
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with patients and create a welcoming atmosphere. 
  • Computer Proficiency: Knowledge of medical office software and basic computer skills is required.
