Job Summary

The Front Office Executive will be responsible for managing the reception desk operations and supervising housekeeping functions to ensure a smooth, professional, and high-quality guest experience at MG Guest House. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain corporate hospitality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Front Office & Reception Management

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Maintain guest records, ID verification, and visitor logs
  • Handle room reservations and coordinate room allocation
  • Maintain room inventory status and daily occupancy reports
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly
  • Coordinate with corporate travel desk / company representatives
  • Ensure professional communication (in-person, phone, email)
  • Maintain reception area cleanliness and presentation

 

2. Housekeeping Supervision

  • Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily cleaning tasks
  • Ensure rooms are cleaned and prepared as per SOP standards
  • Conduct daily room inspections before guest arrival
  • Monitor linen inventory, laundry coordination, and stock levels
  • Ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are strictly maintained
  • Coordinate pest control and periodic deep cleaning
  • Maintain housekeeping checklists and audit reports

 

3. Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with maintenance team for repair and upkeep issues
  • Monitor guest amenities and consumables inventory
  • Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and security protocols
  • Maintain daily MIS reports (occupancy, issues, maintenance logs)
  • Support management in audits and compliance checks

 

4. Guest Experience & Service Quality

  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction standards
  • Gather guest feedback and report to management
  • Resolve operational issues proactively
