Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive Mxon’s Business Loan and MSME Lending vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong network among MSMEs, NBFCs, and financial partners, with a proven ability to originate, structure, and grow business loan portfolios.



Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, acquire, and onboard MSME clients seeking business loans and working capital solutions.
  • Build and manage relationships with channel partners, DSAs, and financial institutions to increase loan sourcing.
  • Generate leads through market intelligence, networking, and partnerships.
  • Evaluate clients’ credit profiles and coordinate with internal credit and operations teams for loan processing.
  • Develop and execute regional business development strategies to meet monthly and quarterly disbursement targets.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and government schemes related to MSME financing.
  • Represent Mxon in trade associations, business events, and MSME forums.
  • Prepare business proposals, client presentations, and performance reports for management.



 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–8 years of experience in MSME business loans, SME lending, or fintech lending.
  • Strong understanding of unsecured and secured lending products, underwriting processes, and credit assessment.
  • Proven track record of achieving disbursement and revenue targets.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple partnerships.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office suite.



Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience with NBFCs, banks, or fintech lenders in the MSME segment.
  • Knowledge of digital lending platforms, co-lending models, and alternative data-based credit evaluation.
  • Existing network of MSME clients or channel partners.
