Site Engineer

Job Title: Site Engineer

Reports To: Project Manager/Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:

     1.  Project Planning and Coordination

       • Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

       • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.

       • Schedule and manage day-to-day construction activities to meet deadlines.

     2.  Site Supervision

       • Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

       • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with design plans.

       • Resolve any technical issues that arise on-site.

   3.  Quality Control and Assurance

       • Ensure materials and workmanship meet the specified quality standards.

       • Maintain and enforce health and safety protocols.

       • Conduct quality checks and prepare progress reports.

 4.  Resource Management

       • Manage and oversee labor, materials, and equipment usage.

       • Optimize resource allocation to reduce wastage and ensure cost-effectiveness.

 5.  Documentation and Reporting

       • Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and timesheets.

       • Report progress, delays, and potential issues to the project manager.

6.  Problem-Solving

       • Identify and troubleshoot problems related to design, materials, and construction processes.

       • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.

Skills and Competencies:

  •Strong understanding of civil, structural, or mechanical engineering principles.

 •Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Attention to detail and organizational skills
