Alignment & Structural Fitter

• Perform precision alignment of equipment using dial gauges, feeler gauges, laser alignment tools, straight edges, etc.
• Install, assemble, and fit mechanical components and equipment.
• Perform shaft alignment, motor alignment, coupling alignment, and belt alignment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot vibration, noise, overheating, and misalignment issues in rotating equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, P&ID, and specifications.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Repair or replace defective parts like bearings, seals, pulleys, couplings, and shafts.
• Ensure tool care, workplace safety, and proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for timely job completion.
