CCTV Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Mount, position, and install CCTV cameras and infrastructure (cabling, connectors, power supplies).
• Configuration: Set up and configure DVR/NVR recording systems, networking equipment, and monitoring screens.
• Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with cameras, footage, recording equipment, or software and Networking.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate service logs, system configurations, and site documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar security role (often 3-5 years required).
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of IP cameras, Analog cameras, DVR/NVR, networking (LAN/WAN), cabling (CAT6/Coaxial), and security alarm systems.
• Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Ability: Ability to work in varied environments, including heights and outdoors.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is preferred.
