Pharmacist

Job Description: Executive Pharmacist – Warehouse (Kolkata)Key Responsibilities

• Validate prescription and order details for accuracy and regulatory compliance before processing.
• Process and dispense medicines as per approved orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Check stocks regularly and update inventory records; report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products as per company and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for smooth dispatch and tracking of medicines.
• Assist in quality checks of received pharmaceutical shipments and update relevant documentation.
• Handle queries from internal teams regarding order status and product availability.
• Maintain compliance with all statutory and company policies related to pharmaceutical operations.
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols within the warehouse environment.
• Participate in regular audits and contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• Valid and active pharmacist license (West Bengal State Pharmacy Council or equivalent).
• Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred, but not mandatory.
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products, prescription validation, and inventory management.
• Comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night and weekend shifts as per operational needs.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office/Excel and familiarity with inventory management systems.
