QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished pipe fittings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ASTM, ASME, ANSI, or customer specifications.
• Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, and testing as per approved procedures.
• Review and verify Mill Test Certificates (MTC) and other quality documents.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
• Coordinate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor welding, heat treatment, and coating processes (if applicable).
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for quality enhancement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience in QA/QC within the pipe fittings or piping industry.
• Knowledge of pipe fittings (elbows, tees, reducers, flanges, etc.).
• Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, ASME, API).
• Basic knowledge of NDT methods (UT, RT, PT, MT preferred).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in QA/QC or NDT
• Experience with ERP or quality management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
