Mechanical Design Engineer

1.    Should have a min. 2-3 CAD/CAE software handling experience, CATIA V5, SOLID EDGE, SOLIDWORKS, CREO, CATIA, Autodesk inventor etc.

2.    Designing and producing visual interpretations of automobiles and their components using computer-aided design packages

3.    Resolve engineering problems and find appropriate solutions;

4.    Building prototypes of components, developing test procedures and conducting tests using software

5.    Packages and physical testing methods;

6.    Researching, designing and developing machinery and systems for automobiles;

7.    Preparing material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications;

8.    Studying the energy, environmental and safety aspects of the planned work;

9.    Investigating mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems;

10. Reviewing and approving designs, calculations and cost estimates;

11. To design, develop, build, test and modify models.

12. To design and analyze design control systems or algorithms.

13. To develop methodologies in calibration, engineering specifications and cost estimates for new design concepts, and control feature specifications and requirements.

14. Hands on experience in Sheet Metal part design, mold design and die design

15. Create all levels of 3D & 2 D drawings for the bus with proper information for ease of Manufacturing and Assembly

16. To make assembly design incorporating manufacturing process.

17.  Create drawings with GD& T & Tolerance Stack up in accordance to the process

18. Well versed with bus body standards and Design releases considering applicable legal requirements.

19.    Knowledge of DFMEA, DFM, DFS, DFA and manufacturing technologies.

20.    Preparation of Bill of material (BOM) & drawing release through PLM
