Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer with prior experience in the steel industry to handle sales growth, customer acquisition, and market development for our Hubli branch.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

Generate new leads and develop new customers in the local market

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Handle customer meetings, price negotiations, and order finalization

Maintain strong relationships with existing customers

Marketing & Promotion

Plan and execute local promotional and marketing activities

Identify new market opportunities and customer segments

Support brand visibility in the Hubli and nearby regions

Market & Competitor Analysis

Track market prices, demand trends, and competitor activities

Provide regular market feedback to Branch Manager / Head Office

Order Coordination & Follow-ups

Coordinate with branch operations for order execution and dispatch

Follow up on deliveries, payments, and customer satisfaction

Support collections and outstanding follow-ups

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain sales records, customer data, and daily activity reports

Submit regular sales and market reports

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Mandatory experience in steel industry sales

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales & marketing (steel preferred)

Good understanding of steel products and local market pricing

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Willingness to travel locally for customer visits

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Knowledge of Hubli and surrounding markets
