Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Oversee warehouse operations including inbound, storage, and outbound processes for finished tyres and raw materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records in SAP and ensure real-time updates of GRN, issue, and dispatch entries.
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO and proper batch management for tyre movement and traceability.
- Coordinate with production and quality departments to manage tyre curing, inspection, and readiness for dispatch.
- Plan and monitor dispatch schedules as per customer and dealer requirements through SAP.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports in SAP for stock, dispatch, and pending orders.
- Manage cycle counts and physical verification of stocks; reconcile variances in SAP.
- Support audit requirements and ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and compliance norms.
- Collaborate with transporters and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimum logistics cost.
- Train and guide subordinates in SAP transactions and warehouse procedures.
- Required Skills & Competencies:Strong hands-on experience in SAP (MM, WM, SD, or PP modules) – mandatory.
- Good understanding of tyre manufacturing or distribution processes.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety, 5S, and lean practices.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch timelines.
- Qualification & Experience:Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or any related field.
- SAP certification or formal SAP training preferred.
- 2–8 years of experience in the Tyre / Rubber / Automotive industry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
