Job Role: General Manager – Sales & MarketingCompany: OJJHS Agro Technology Pvt Ltd
Location: Remote (Hubli, Hyderabad, Bangalore)
States Covered: Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala
Monthly Touring: 8–12 days
- Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the market presence.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and channel partners.
- Marketing & Brand Management:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor strategies, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and digital marketing initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring high productivity and motivation.
- Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide necessary training and support.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and optimize team performance.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and acquire new customers.
- Address client concerns and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure profitability.
- Operational & Financial Management:
- Monitor sales budgets and ensure cost-effective sales operations.
- Collaborate with finance and supply chain teams for seamless order fulfillment.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
- Field Visits & Market Expansion:
- Conduct on-site visits to dealers, retailers, and farmers in the assigned states.
- Organize product demonstrations, training sessions, and promotional events.
- Gather feedback from the field to improve products and services.
- Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sales & marketing, preferably in the agro-tech industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively (8-12 days per month) across designated regions.
- Proficiency in market analysis and sales forecasting.
