Job Role: General Manager – Sales & MarketingCompany: OJJHS Agro Technology Pvt Ltd

Location: Remote (Hubli, Hyderabad, Bangalore)

States Covered: Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala

Monthly Touring: 8–12 days

  1. Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the market presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and channel partners.
  1. Marketing & Brand Management:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor strategies, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and digital marketing initiatives.
  1. Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring high productivity and motivation.
  • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide necessary training and support.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews and optimize team performance.
  1. Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and acquire new customers.
  • Address client concerns and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure profitability.
  1. Operational & Financial Management:

  • Monitor sales budgets and ensure cost-effective sales operations.
  • Collaborate with finance and supply chain teams for seamless order fulfillment.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
  1. Field Visits & Market Expansion:

  • Conduct on-site visits to dealers, retailers, and farmers in the assigned states.
  • Organize product demonstrations, training sessions, and promotional events.
  • Gather feedback from the field to improve products and services.
  • Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales & marketing, preferably in the agro-tech industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (8-12 days per month) across designated regions.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and sales forecasting.
