Job Profile: Digital Designer / Digital Editor / DTP Designer @ Artocult

🎨 Role Overview

The Digital Editor/Designer at Arto Cult is a multidisciplinary creative professional responsible for shaping the visual and editorial quality of all digital content across the platform. This role blends desktop publishing, video editing, graphic design, and ad‑ops coordination, ensuring that every creative output reflects Arto Cult’s aesthetic standards and community‑first ethos.

The Digital Editor works closely with the content, marketing, artist relations, and project teams to deliver high‑impact visuals, manage ad orders, and support ongoing creative projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Production & Design

* Design digital ads, promotional creatives, banners, and campaign assets.

* Create layouts for digital magazines, newsletters, artist profiles, and platform content using DTP tools.

* Develop visually engaging graphics for social media, events, and community announcements.

* Maintain brand consistency across all visual outputs.

2. Video Editing & Multimedia

* Edit short‑form and long‑form videos for campaigns, artist showcases, interviews, and platform features.

* Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, and sound enhancements.

* Repurpose raw footage into polished, platform‑ready content.

3. Project & Ad Order Management

* Coordinate incoming ad orders from partners, clients, and internal teams.

* Manage timelines, creative briefs, revisions, and final delivery.

* Ensure all ad creatives meet platform specifications and quality standards.

* Maintain a structured workflow for tracking ad placements and project progress.

4. Platform Content Editing

* Edit and enhance artist submissions, project visuals, and community content.

* Support the curation team with visual improvements for featured stories and campaigns.

* Assist in preparing content for ArtoCult’s digital magazine and upcoming product modules.

5. Collaboration & Workflow

* Work closely with the marketing, editorial, and artist relations teams to understand creative needs.

* Provide design support for events, workshops, and special initiatives.

* Maintain an organized asset library and version‑controlled project files.

💻 Required Skills & Software Expertise

Design & DTP

* Adobe Photoshop

* Adobe InDesign

* Illustrator or equivalent vector tools

* Canva / Figma (added advantage)

Video & Motion

* Adobe Premiere Pro

* Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve

* After Effects (preferred)

Other Tools

* Knowledge of recent design and editing software trends

* Basic understanding of digital ad formats, resolutions, and platform guidelines

* Familiarity with cloud‑based collaboration tools (Drive, Notion, Trello, etc.)
