Counter Sales Executive Job Description

Role Overview:- Provide excellent customer service, drive sales, and ensure a positive shopping experience at the counter/frontline of a retail store.

Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service:

  - Greet customers, understand needs, and recommend products.

  - Address queries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Sales & Targets:

  - Meet daily/weekly sales targets and promote products/campaigns.

  - Upsell/cross-sell relevant products to increase basket size.

- Counter Operations:

  - Maintain counter cleanliness, product displays, and stock levels.

  - Handle cash/credit transactions accurately and process returns/exchanges.

- Product Knowledge:

  - Stay updated on product features, promotions, and inventory.

- Team Collaboration:

  - Work with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations and handover.

- Reporting:

  - Share daily sales, customer feedback, and stock alerts with supervisor.

Required Skills:-

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Customer Focus: Customer-centric, patient, and positive attitude.

- Sales Drive: Target-oriented with ability to upsell politely.

- Basic Math: Comfortable handling cash and basic calculations.

- Appearance: Neat, professional attire as per company dress code.

Qualifications:- Education: Minimum 10th/12th pass

- Experience: Prior retail/counter sales experience preferred.
