Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will oversee billing, handle accounts payable and receivable, ensure accurate bookkeeping, manage tax filings, and maintain proper documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to supervise and streamline financial processes effectively.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and manage daily accounting activities, including data entry, ledger posting, and reconciliations.
  • Handle billing, vendor payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain and file all bills, vouchers, and supporting documents in an organized manner.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage GST, TDS, and income tax filings and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors and assist in annual audit processes.
  • Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and error-free.
  • Provide regular financial summaries and reports to management.
  • Supervise junior accounting staff (if any) and ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, billing, and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting principles.
  • Experience with GST, TDS, and tax return filing is mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
