Job Description
A Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales team, ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process, and managing administrative tasks.
Job Summary:The Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting the sales team with administrative duties, ensuring efficient communication between the sales department and clients, and providing support to meet sales targets. This role involves managing orders, maintaining client relationships, processing inquiries, and coordinating sales schedules.
- Key Responsibilities:Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team by preparing sales presentations, reports, and proposals.
- Order Management: Process and track customer orders, ensuring accurate entry into the system and timely delivery.
- Client Communication: Act as a liaison between the sales team and clients, addressing customer inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Data Management: Maintain and update customer databases, sales leads, and contact information.
- Sales Reports: Prepare sales reports, analyze performance data, and track progress toward sales goals.
- Scheduling: Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team.
- Inventory Coordination: Work with inventory management to ensure product availability for orders and forecast demand.
- Documentation: Ensure that all sales documentation, contracts, and agreements are accurately completed and filed.
- Follow-ups: Monitor the progress of sales opportunities and follow up with clients to ensure successful closure of deals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer service, and finance teams to support the overall sales process and business objectives.
- Skills and Qualifications:Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Previous experience in sales support or coordination, preferably in a related industry.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM software, and sales management tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Personal Attributes:Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and team members.
