English Teacher

We are looking for a English teacher instructs students in reading, writing, grammar, literature, and oral communication, fostering critical thinking and language proficiency. Key responsibilities include creating engaging lesson plans, conducting assessments, managing classroom behavior, and providing constructive feedback, typically holding a degree in English or Education and certification. Betterteam +3

Core Responsibilities

• Lesson Planning & Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans covering reading comprehension, writing techniques, literature, and grammar according to curriculum standards.
• Assessment & Grading: Prepare and grade assignments, tests, and projects to evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Classroom Management: Establish a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment, managing behavior and promoting student participation.
• Individual Support: Identify students needing extra help and provide tailored tutoring, remedial instruction, or modified materials.
• Communication: Meet with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and collaborate with staff.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
