Job Description

Looking for a Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) and literature, creating engaging lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and fostering an appreciation for Hindi culture. They often handle bilingual classrooms, adapting teaching methods for various proficiency levels while maintaining academic records and engaging with parents. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruction & Curriculum: Prepare daily lesson plans, curriculum modules, and interactive materials (worksheets, presentations) according to school standards (CBSE/ICSE).
  • Language Development: Teach Hindi grammar, vocabulary, literature, poetry, and stories, catering to diverse learning abilities.
  • Evaluation: Create, administer, and grade assignments, tests, and projects to measure student understanding.
  • Engagement: Conduct extracurricular activities like debates, quizzes, elocution, theater, and role-play to encourage language use.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a productive, disciplined, and positive classroom environment.
  • Communication: Update parents regarding student performance and attend staff meetings or workshops. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi/Sanskrit, along with a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is commonly required.
  • Experience: Previous teaching experience (2–5 years) is preferred, particularly for high school positions.
  • Subject Knowledge: Strong command over Hindi grammar, literature, and proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Pedagogy: Ability to use modern digital teaching tools and interactive teaching methods.
  • Soft Skills: High level of patience, creativity, and excellent communication skills to handle young learners.
