Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Summary

Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the organization. 

Prepare, analyze, and report on financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. 

Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. 

Provide financial guidance to management to support informed decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities

Record and reconcile all financial transactions and accounts.

Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices and payments.

Manage payroll functions and ensure accurate processing.

Assist with tax preparation and filings.

Conduct financial analysis, including variance and cost analysis.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting.

Maintain financial security through internal controls and data backups.

Support internal and external audits.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Stay updated on current accounting laws and regulations. 

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is often required or preferred. 

Experience: Proven work experience as an accountant, CPA, or in a similar role. 

Technical Skills:Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel. 

Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting procedures. 

Soft Skills:Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 

Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
