Accounts Manager

We are looking for a senior, trustworthy, and hands-on Accountant who will act as the main accountant for our Resort, directly reporting to the Owners, and also manage accounting and statutory compliance for a Digital Marketing Company.

The role requires end-to-end ownership of accounts, strong experience in Tally, GST, and Income Tax (ITR), and the ability to independently manage financial reporting and compliance.

This is a position of responsibility, not a junior accounting role.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Manager – Resort (Primary Responsibility)

1. Act as the single point of control for resort accounts
2. Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally
3. Daily monitoring of Room revenue, Food & beverage sales.
4. POS and cash reconciliation.
5. Track expenses, vendor bills, petty cash, and inventory-related expenses
6. Prepare daily / weekly / monthly revenue and expense reports
7. Ensure financial discipline and cost control
8. Prepare and present monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
9. Directly report financial performance to Owners
10. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities

B. Accounting – Digital Marketing Company (Secondary Responsibility)

1. Maintain books of accounts in Tally
2. Handle service invoices, retainers, and client billing
3. Track expenses related to ads, tools, subscriptions, and freelancers
4. Prepare client-wise or project-wise profitability reports
5. Monthly MIS and reporting to management

C. GST & Statutory Compliance

1. Independently handle GST compliance for both entities:
2. GSTR-1, GSTR-3B
3. GST reconciliation with GSTR-2B
4. Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance by coordinating with Auditors.

D. Income Tax & TDS

1. Prepare data and coordinate filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR)
2. Handle TDS calculation, deductions, payments, and returns
3. Maintain proper documentation for audits and assessments
4. Liaise with CA when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime
2. Proven experience in GST filing & reconciliation
3. Experience with Income Tax Returns (ITR) and TDS
4. Sound knowledge of Indian accounting and taxation
5. Strong MS Excel skills
6. Ability to work independently and report directly to owners
7. High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability

Preferred Candidate Profile

1. Experience as a lead or sole accountant for a business
2. Prior exposure to resort / hospitality accounting is a strong advantage
3. Comfortable handling multiple businesses
4. Mature, responsible, and stable professional
