Area Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Management

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned region.

Monitor store-wise sales performance and take corrective actions.

Drive conversion, ATV (Average Transaction Value), and UPT (Units per Transaction).

Plan and execute promotional activities to increase footfall and revenue.

2. Store Operations

Ensure SOP compliance across all stores.

Maintain visual merchandising standards.

Ensure stock availability and minimize shrinkage.

Monitor store audits and operational efficiency.

3. Team Management

Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers and staff.

Monitor manpower productivity (Sales per employee ratio).

Conduct performance reviews and implement KPI tracking.

Control attrition and improve employee engagement.

4. Customer Experience

Ensure high service standards across stores.

Address escalated customer complaints.

Monitor customer feedback and improve service processes.

5. Financial Control

Monitor store P&L performance.

Control expenses within approved budgets.

Ensure proper cash management and billing compliance.

6. Reporting & Coordination

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Coordinate with HR, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams.

Conduct regular store visits and review meetings.
