CAD Design Engineer (Mechanical/Structure)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural / Mechanical Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing structural and mechanical components for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed structural and mechanical designs based on project specifications

- Develop 2D/3D drawings using design software

- Perform load calculations, stress analysis, and material selection

- Coordinate with project, site, and engineering teams for design execution

- Review and modify designs based on feedback and site conditions

- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations

- Support installation teams with technical drawings and clarifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering

- Proficiency in software such as:

. AutoCAD

. SolidWorks / CATIA / Creo (for mechanical)

. STAAD Pro / ETABS (for structural)

- Strong understanding of:

. Structural analysis and design principles

. Mechanical systems and fabrication processes

. Good problem-solving and analytical skills

. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in Structural & Mechanical design

- Knowledge of IS codes and international standards

- Prior experience in site coordination is an added advantage
