CCTV MONITORING

Job Summary:

The CCTV Monitoring Officer is responsible for continuously monitoring surveillance systems within the hospital to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, visitors, and property. The role involves observing live and recorded footage, identifying suspicious or unsafe activities, and promptly reporting incidents in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems across hospital premises on a 24/7 basis.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality are strictly maintained at all times.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents detected via CCTV.
• Communicate effectively with hospital security staff, supervisors, and emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports of observations and actions taken.
• Assist in investigations by reviewing and retrieving recorded footage when authorized.
• Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly and report faults or maintenance needs.
• Follow hospital security policies, procedures, and legal guidelines related to surveillance.
• Support hospital staff during emergency situations such as fire, violence, theft, or medical crises.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
